Organisational Resilience (OR)
A systematic approach to OR makes a company more likely to avoid major issues and crises. And if it is hit with an unavoidable challenge, OR will ensure it bounces back to operational stability and business continuity much more quickly. OR includes risk identification, evaluation and mitigation, and issues and crisis management. - e.g. Our work to strengthen OR includes:
- Assessing output from an Enterprise Risk Management programme and materiality matrices that identify and rank the risks/opportunities
Working with companies on mitigating risks with the highest impact and probability
- Horizon-scanning for emerging risks and issues management.
- Understanding what issues need special attention often prevents them becoming a crisis. Our methodology is built on a first-hand experience of due diligence on sensitive countries and for sensitive projects, technologies and customers, including on-the-ground investigations and stakeholder engagement in all regions of the world
- Business ethics and compliance – auditing, maturity assessment and pressure testing plans and systems; investigations
- Supply chain human rights and sustainability programmes. Based on the experiences of developing and deploying a training, audit and improvement process in India and China, which now covers thousands of suppliers and labour providers in a variety of countries in the Middle East, Central America and Asia, including Vietnam and Thailand
